The Green Fund co-finances the LIFE PRIMED project for the year 2023

The Green Fund with its Board Decision No. 265.10/2023/21.06.2023 co-finances the LIFE PRIMED project (LIFE17 NAT/GR/000511) for the year 2023. The Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature, the coordinating beneficiary of the project and the Institute of Mediterranean Forest Ecosystems of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization “DEMETER”, partner of the project, will be granted funding in the frame of the “EUROPEAN PROGRAMME LIFE 2023” of Green Fund.

The Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature, the coordinating beneficiary of the project and the Institute of Mediterranean Forest Ecosystems of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization “DEMETER”, partner of the project, will be granted funding in the frame of the “EUROPEAN PROGRAMME LIFE 2022” of Green Fund.

Natura 2000 Network

On 20th of May, it was a pleasure to inform 16 students from the Akdeniz University of Antalya about the project activities on the spot. We discussed about Natura 2000 Network, key stone species of the targeted priority habitats, nature-based solutions and much more. The visit was organized in the framework of study visit in the area of Northern Greece regarding the forest management practices.
