Moreover, on December 23th, 2020, the Project Manager and Prof. Sappa, responsible for the Action, met Dr Filippo Moretti, the Managing Director of the Water Resources, and other municipality representatives to discuss the opportunity to integrate the newly developed municipal Fire Management Plan with the project Water Management Plan (Action C.5) to allow eventual use of the rainwater stored in the underground tank in case of fire emergency.

The meeting was followed by a field excursion held in Palo Laziale on February 5th, 2021 (Figure 4 in Annex Action C.3). In Nestos, field trips were particularly necessary to verify existing local conditions and identify technical needs (e.g. data on flow rate of the Nestos river) and logistics aspects related to the hydraulic system's implementation.
